Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am a junior transferring to SMWC as an external degree student and I was wondering how registration for classes works. I can't seem to find a course catalog or anything. I am still waiting for my advisor to contact me about this. I am a planner and, at my other schools, I usually have every quarter planned in advance so, without knowing what the heck I'm doing, I feel a little lost. I feel like time is ticking away until the first day of spring quarter (April 8th) and I don't even know what classes are available to me so I feel like I won't get to go. I have a feeling SMWC is run a little different than the schools I have attended in the past. Any help?
Hi - My name is Jackie Fischer and I work in the Career Center at SMWC. I am happy to help you - please contact me at email@example.com. I have also pasted a message below from Gwen Hagemeyer. Hi, I am Gwen Hagemeyer, WED Director. If you will email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I will be happy to connect with you for planning purposes. I guess WED IS a little different from other schools, but we hope that you will be happy with your program at The Woods. I usually select courses for a student's first semester, and then they plan their subsequent semesters with an academic advisor from their major after they get started. However, I can help you plan more than one semester and we can do it now instead of later. We don't want you to feel uncomfortable about how this will work for you. I hope to hear from you soon. Gwen
